Any communications with Lawrence Calenti in a lawyer-client setting are privileged. This privilege extends to any information received, whether in electronic or document format.

In order to properly represent his clients, Lawrence Calenti will need to request and produce certain personal information. Examples of the types of information typically collected include: clinical notes and records from treating physicians, hospital records, decoded Ontario Health Insurance Plan summaries, Canada Revenue Agency tax printouts, employment records, insurance claim files, Canada Pension Plan files, Employment Insurance files. If and when we will require this information, we will seek your written consent on every occasion.

None of your personal information will ever be disclosed to any third party for marketing purposes.

Your personal information may be disclosed when such disclosure is a necessity of prosecuting your claim. Examples would be: providing information to defence counsel or an insurance company, or providing information to an expert witness retained on your case.

You are always entitled to access any personal information the office has about you. General information is available on request, but more detailed requests which require retrieval costs may be subject to normal professional and disbursement fees.

Your rights to access your personal information are not absolute. If Lawrence Calenti denies your request for access to, or refuses a request to correct information, he shall explain why.
Lawrence Calenti communicates with clients in person, by telephone, by letter, by facsimile and by e-mail. Remember that communications by facsimile and e-mail can be intercepted by no fault of this office. Please keep this in mind when contacting Lawrence Calenti.
